2014 Co-President Appointed
The Adelaide Advertising and Design Club (AADC) is proud to announce the selection of its new Co-President Josh Welbourn of Adelaide advertising agency, The Kingdom.
Josh joined the AADC Executive Committee in 2013 and is delighted to be appointed the prestigious role of Co-President by fellow committee members. Josh has essentially become the youngest Co-President in the history of AADC, and is humbled to work closely with fellow Co-President Michael Rogers of Culter Brands.
“We are delighted to have Josh join me as Co-President and form an integral part of the executive team.
His enthusiasm for the industry and his leading creative thinking will be a valuable contribution to the direction the Club is taking,” Rogers said.
Josh believes it is important for professionals to constantly strive to improve on the level of creativity they convey in their work. “A key aspect of our Club, an initiative I wish to champion is to also ensure pathways for graduate career development.”
“I aim to engage more of our industry partners and host events with a strong professional development and creative focus to not only encourage participation, but also enrich the expertise of our members,” said Josh.
The AADC is the lead organisation in Adelaide for supporting artistic individuals in a wide range of education programs in the advertising and design industry. This involves print, sound, content and activation. Mentor programs
and open days are also available to creative individuals who are seeking to join the industry. Josh states, “it’s important to provide guidance to school and university leavers.”
The AADC also supports a wide range of exhibitions, publications, and frequent social events
, in order for members
to gain industry networking opportunities for their professional advantage.
