AdMental 2020 – Make an ad and make your mark
Are you studying creative arts, marketing and communications, film or graphic design? Are you a young creative, or think you have what it takes to be one?
This is your opportunity to create an ad that won’t just get you noticed, it may well change lives.
The Don Dunstan Foundation is looking for a video 30 seconds to two minutes long to help change the way young people think about and discuss mental health.
The attached brief outlines the requirements and details.
Two finalists will be selected, based on both the strength of their idea and the ability to make it within the budget allocated.
The finalists will each have $1000 cash and support and mentoring from local advertising agencies.
Form a team or go it alone. Either way, you’ll have a chance to create something great.
If you need advice or help to sort the good ideas from the not so good, the following advertising mentors are available during the ideas stage:
Jamie Scott, Managing Director, Showpony Advertising
Tom Ootes, Account Director, Black Sheep Advertising
The finalists will also have the chance to use advertising industry mentors to help hone their idea and produce the ad.
The finalists will present their finished ads in a Gruen style challenge at the Don Dunstan Foundation’s AdMental event in April, attended by Don Dunstan Foundation staff, mental health professionals and the Adelaide Advertising Industry.
The winning videos and contributors will gain additional exposure via participating mental health organisations
Forward your script(s) and any supporting material to [email protected] in the first instance by 8am Monday, December 2nd, 2019.
