50 Years of Creativity

We are celebrating 50 years of AADC. Five decades of inspiring, connecting and championing the creative communications industry of South Australia.

At the heart of our Club is you – our members. The thinkers, the creatives, the makers, the writers…the beating heart of Adelaide’s industry.

To mark this milestone, we invite you to create an original work inspired by a year that shaped our industry. From the swinging 70s to the bold noughties – this is a tribute to the past, told by the present.

Receive a year between 1975 and 2025 and create a piece that captures the spirit, influence and creative energy of that moment in time.

The details:

• We’ll give you a year between 1975 and 2025, and a simple template (see example here).
• The artwork is completely up to you (it's an open brief!).
• You create one original piece for social media – either a single visual or a short motion piece (max. 5 seconds).
• You provide a caption that explains your creative take on the year.
• Open to all AADC members.
• Limited spots available – get in early.
• Submit your creative work by Thu Aug 14.
• Your entry and name will be featured in the lead-up to our 50th anniversary celebrations on our socials.
