AADC is pleased to announce the appointment of Corey Swaffer as the new Co-President for 2026 and 2027, leading alongside current Co-President Sarah Luthaus – who is moving into her second and final year in the role.
Corey is a highly respected and highly awarded Creative Director and Writer with over 25 years experience. Having worked at a number of agencies in Adelaide, including a 15 year stint at KWP, where he rose to ECD, Corey is now a sought after freelance creative and mentor. Corey steps into the role from outgoing president Paul Kitching (PK), whom the Club farewells with deep gratitude and appreciation.
Reflecting on PK’s legacy, Sarah Luthaus shared, “PK has been a remarkable President. His steady leadership, generosity with his time and genuine care for everyone in our community has shaped AADC in ways that will be felt for years to come. Under his guidance, the Club has strengthened its initiatives, become more accessible and expanded its community. He has led with heart, humility and an unwavering belief in the value of South Australian creativity.”
Marking the end of his tenure, PK shared, "It's been an incredible two years as Co-President, working first with the wise Nic Eldridge and then in the past year alongside the impressive Sarah Luthaus. I have learnt so much about myself, many others, our industry and beyond. My mission has always been to simply make AADC more inclusive and to raise its profile. I feel that together we are achieving this and more and can't wait to see what Corey brings to the table!"
AADC is heading into its 51st year, continuing the strong momentum created through decades of stellar leadership. With Sarah and Corey at the helm, AADC is poised for an exciting new chapter.
When asked about his new role as AADC Co-President, Corey said, “I’m looking forward to working with my Co-President Sarah and the committee to build on the great work that has been done over the Club’s 50 year history and ensure that the AADC continues to be relevant and add value for members. I want to bring my years of experience, perspective and passion for our creative industry to the role and add value everywhere I can.”
As a volunteer-run, not-for-profit organisation, AADC is powered by the passion and commitment of its committee members – both seasoned industry leaders and emerging talent – who dedicate their time to shaping the future of the creative community. The Club thanks all committee members from the past year for their invaluable contributions and ongoing dedication.
