AADC Pulse: A Pulse Check of the Local Industry

20 May 2026

AADC is launching an industry-first, strategic research project exploring the real state of creativity in South Australia and we need voices like yours to make it matter.

This project is designed to capture what it actually feels like to work in the creative communications industry today, what’s working, what’s getting in the way and where we may be heading.

AI is reshaping how we work. Talent is increasingly mobile. Budgets are tighter. And yet some of the most interesting, ambitious work in the country is being made right here in SA.

Through a series of one-on-one conversations with people across agencies, in-house teams, freelance and independent roles, we’re building an honest, qualitative picture of our industry, told by the people shaping it every day.

Why get involved?

Because creativity is one of South Australia’s greatest strengths, but also one of its most fragile. Without real insight from the people doing the work, we risk losing talent, repeating the same challenges and mistaking resilience for sustainability.

This is an opportunity to:

  • Share your perspective in a confidential, open conversation

  • Contribute to a collective evidence base for the industry

  • Help shape smarter, more informed conversations about the future of creativity in SA.

A Call for Participation

We’re currently seeking expressions of interest from individuals across the commercial communications sector.

If you’d like to be involved, we’d love to hear from you. Drop your details in the form below and we'll be in touch!
