Recognised around the world, Australia's AWARD School is a twelve-week fast track into the next stage of a creative career. The course, which is taught by advertising industry leaders, provides invaluable hands-on experience answering creative briefs.
Designed as a part-time commitment that can be managed around work or study, AWARD School prepares its students to step into an agency creative department, take their business or creative idea to the next level, create better content or progress a career in commercial creativity with confidence.
Applications for the 2023 AWARD School intakes across Australia open in February, but aspiring students are being offered the chance to supercharge their applications with a Virtual Application Workshop scheduled for Tuesday, October 4 at 6.30pm (AEDT).
The two hour workshop will be hosted by industry experts, including:
- Victorian AWARD School Head, Sarah Vincenzini, Associate Creative Director at M&C Saatchi Melbourne
- Victorian AWARD School Head, Kieran Moroney, Creative Director at VMLY&R Melbourne
- Jake Barrow, Group Executive Creative Director at VMLY&R Melbourne and Sydney
- Shaun McFarlane, Creative at Special Group and Youngbloods National Chair
Structured as a four-part workshop, the evening will directly address the first three questions of the AWARD School application, including the chance to practice responding to a simple brief.
The final module offers practical tips on what can be done between now and when the AWARD School applications open to bolster your application's viability.
This rare opportunity to hear connect directly with industry leaders is free and will be held virtually on Zoom.
Head to the AWARD School website to learn more and register for the workshop.
