The highlights from She Creates' latest event, Walk & Talk

Over the last two years, many women starting out in our industry or within new roles have missed out on opportunities to build their professional networks and meet like minded individuals. She Creates’ most recent event, Walk & Talk, sought to tackle this issue.

Joined by a handful of the She Creates’ ambassadors, we invited our community to meet us for a Saturday morning coffee, stroll and chinwag. Here, they had the opportunity to connect with, share experiences and learn from women in the industry.

Our ambassadors — Deanna, Melinda, Nicole and Pier – shared with our guests their wisdom and experience in creative, account management and research roles, across agency, freelance and government.

Women at any age, stage or career background were invited to come along and pick our ambassadors’ brains. From students and juniors just starting out, to mid-seniors looking to level up, we were excited to host a diverse cross section of our industry.

Fueled with coffee and pastry, and the beautiful morning sunshine, our attendees left with career advice, a mentor or new industry friend.
