The Adelaide Advertising & Design Club (AADC) has a new Co-President for 2024/25 in Paul Kitching. Fuller Brand Communication’s Business Development Manager, PK (as he is affectionately known) looks forward to embracing this role alongside current Co-President Nic Eldridge from design agency sector7G.
PK takes over from outgoing Co-President Joe Godsell from TBWA\Adelaide and credits Joe and all past AADC Presidents for the current buoyant status of the Club.
“It’s an honour and pleasure to accept the role of Co-President for the AADC and work with Nic Eldridge who I know well and admire for his tenacity, talent and wise guidance. Many thanks to Joe Godsell, whom I equally admire, and whose leadership over the past two years has been nothing but inspirational and clearly focused to ensure the club has not just evolved but flourished."
"My aim is to continue the great work that Joe established, and join Nic in ensuring the AADC celebrates the creative industry in all its many forms - not just the expected ones too. This is about community, about the next generation of creatives and how we ensure the Club remains relevant and inclusive for all. It’s about how we evolve, how we strive for excellence, and how we encourage, acknowledge and congratulate our peers across the wider creative industry."
"Bring on 2024” says PK.
Said Godsell "It has been an honour to a lead the creative industry in South Australia over the past 2 years and work with the fantastic committee to deliver on our goals. I set out to ensure that everything that the Club did was fundamentally useful to our members and that everyone felt welcome, providing more opportunities outside of the traditional channels."
"I leave the Club in great hands with Nic who has brought invaluable design industry experience and PK who will undoubtedly bring his signature style and connections to keep growing the Club in the right way."
Said Eldridge “On behalf of the AADC community, I would like to extend a very big thank you to Joe Godsell for his incredible tenure as AADC Co-president."
"Joe’s energy and enthusiasm has been a large part of why the club is sitting in a very good spot right now. Always maintaining a steely focus on what benefits the members most, his cool headed calm in committee meetings was only matched by his consistent positivity about the club and its community."
"For me personally, it’s been a fantastic experience working alongside Joe, but as the person who is stepping into Joe’s shoes this year, I know I have a job ahead of me to just maintain the level of activity and growth we’ve seen under his stewardship."
"Organisations like AADC can only thrive when people like Joe Godsell put their hands up to help out. Enjoy your new found spare time Joe, and we’ll see you at the next event."
